Lavoisier Composites is a company specialized in the development of materials and composite parts from by-products of the aeronautical industry.
As part of our development, we are looking for a:
Project Manager Composite Materials (M / W)
Attached to the Managing Director, you are responsible for composite material projects related to our customers and prospects.
As a first step, you are responsible for the operational management of a major R & T project for the company in connection with a leading aerospace customer. This first project focuses on the development and technical, economic and environmental validation of a proof of concept in relation to this client. This first 6-month mission will be based in Madrid Spain with the client before returning to the company’s headquarters in Lyon France area.
Your main tasks will be to:
o Define and validate the objectives and project performance indicators related to the client.
o Guarantee the achievement of objectives: cost – time – quality.
o Provide customer contact as a technical expert.
o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
o Produce demonstrators and proofs of concepts: production methods, molds, process adjustment, determination of optimal operating parameters.
o Set up quality manufacturing documents to ensure a consistent result.
Intervene on the problems encountered and pilot action plans (configuration management / changes, discrepancy nonconformities …)
Characterization of the quality of products, semi-products and manufactured parts.
With a postgraduate degree in Chemistry and Engineering with a focus on materials engineering (composites in particular), processes or technical textiles, you are looking for a first position in a leading sector within a dynamic and innovative structure.
You have a relational ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English, Spanish and French.
Autonomous, rigorous and organized, your synthesis spirit allows you to be effective in your interactions with stakeholders.
You can take into account the industrial constraints of quality, cost and time.
You show curiosity of mind and have a strong taste for innovation, processes of transformation and technology in general. You can make operational decisions for carrying out complex overall work.
You demonstrate commitment and flexibility to meet the requirements of concrete results.
You ideally have knowledge of the aviation environment.
You report directly to the General Manager.
You are in direct contact with the internal teams.
