With nearly 25 years of experience in high-performance composites, Guillaume and Esteban know a lot about it. With their respective backgrounds in polymer engineering on the one hand, and mechanical engineering on the other, they were fortunate to be able to perform very complementary functions such as R & D (Research and Development), technical support or the qualification of materials in the aerospace sector.
This common experience allowed them to understand one thing: the most exceptional of materials is worthless if it is not implemented under optimal conditions!
Production hazards lead to the removal of materials or parts because they go beyond the limits of an established specification or an expected period of use.
The good news is that thanks to this rigorous process, only the configuration provided by the certification is the one that will be found on the plane.
On the other hand, this process is at the origin of a major wastage. While their residual properties would be considered of very good level for a number of applications, these materials excluded from the aeronautical processing industry unfortunately end up in an incinerator.
The experience and know-how of Guillaume and Esteban allowed Lavoisier Composites to develop new high-end applications with these materials removed from their original sector.
